Job description

Position Summary:
Eventus WholeHealth specializes in delivering an integrated care model to adults in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities through a network of healthcare providers, including Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, and Support Staff. The Regional Long-Term Care Account Executive is a motivated and results-driven individual with a successful track record in driving sales, managing client relationships, and expanding our presence within the long-term care industry across the designated region. This position plays a pivotal role in developing new business for Eventus primary care and mental health services in Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing facilities, and Continuing Care Retirement Communities, aligning with annual budgeted and strategic growth goals. The Account Executive's demonstrated ability to liaise between facility administration/staff and internal Eventus WholeHealth provider and support teams ensures the successful delivery of our integrated care model, supporting aggressive expansion plans by developing and maintaining an active pipeline of new business opportunities in their assigned marketing area, documented through a CRM system.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Excellence:
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of Eventus' integrated care model and its positive impact on patients and facilities.
  • Create and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed sales targets, utilizing a consultative approach to understand account needs and propose solutions aligned with their objectives.
  • Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with existing businesses, identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling service lines.
  • Demonstrate expertise in the long-term care industry, understanding the specifics of all facilities within the marketing area, including ownership, star ratings, administrative teams, and incumbent provider status.
  • Utilize Market Intelligence Technology to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Prepare sales reports, materials, and presentations, providing regular updates on sales performance, market trends, and account feedback.
  • Maintain and document a pipeline of all sales activities.
  • Secure facility services agreements through presentations and obtaining signatures.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
  • Conduct facility onboarding meetings and activities to prepare for service initiation.
  • Align facility expectations with Eventus service standards and protocols, sharing facility demographic details to ensure outstanding service delivery.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Facility Retention and Revenue Improvement:
  • Collaborate with the Regional Long-Term Care Sales Support Specialist, Clinical Operations team, and Providers to ensure 100% facility retention.
  • Proactively communicate with Eventus WholeHealth leadership/providers on indications of dissatisfaction from facility administration or staff.
  • Obtain testimonials and referrals from existing facilities while fostering relationships with Acute Healthcare facilities and other relevant organizations.

Supports Achievement of Business Imperatives:
  • Stay updated on long-term care marketplace developments impacting Eventus, acting as a resource for market intelligence.
  • Retain existing facilities, leverage relationships for new leads, and identify opportunities for new Eventus WholeHealth services based on facility feedback/requests.
  • Network with industry leaders and participate in industry/trade events as needed.

Quality and Compliance:
  • Maintain and update databases, CRM systems, and sales-related tools for data accuracy and accessibility.
  • Ensure compliance with Eventus WholeHealth policies, federal and state healthcare regulations related to post-acute care facilities, and understanding of insurance types.
  • Demonstrate commitment to Eventus Mission, Vision, and Values.

Qualifications/Education:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in Health Care Administration, Business, or Management.
  • 5 years of experience in an outside Business Development/Sales role in the Post-Acute Healthcare industry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with clinical and non-clinical personnel.
  • Track record of achieving sales goals and retaining existing business.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Windows 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Sales Force.com or similar CRM systems.
  • Willingness to travel daily, with less than 25% estimated overnight travel.
