Job Title: Program Specialist
Location: Trenton, NJ 08625 (Office with possibility for Hybrid)
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 5 Months
Experience: 1+ years of professional experience
Job Overview
Our client is seeking a Program Specialist to support program operations at their Trenton, NJ office. This role involves data collection and analysis, research, funding identification, and preparation of informational and reporting materials. The position operates on standard business hours (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM) with a business casual dress code.
Key Responsibilities
  • Research and identify public and private funding sources and assist in preparing funding proposals
  • Assist in conducting surveys, research, and field investigations
  • Comprehend, analyze, and interpret laws, rules, regulations, and policies and apply them to specific situations
  • Prepare clear, accurate, and comprehensive reports with findings, conclusions, and recommendations
  • Organize assigned work, analyze problems, and develop effective work methods
  • Maintain essential records and files and utilize electronic and manual information systems
  • Participate in conferences, meetings, and other events as required
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and program stakeholders
