Are you interested in building trusted relationships with elite travel planners and convert Disney Magic into premium event experiences? As a Sales Manager with the Walt Disney Company, you will work with travel advisors and Guest to proactively identify exclusive personalized milestone event experiences. Of central importance is the ability to identify and articulate sales strategies to expand high margin revenue opportunities along with being knowledgeable of products and services across Walt Disney World. Leverage internal synergies with existing Disney premium offerings to capture existing affluent high affinity Guests. You will report to the Disney Celebration and Events, Sales and Event Services Director

This is a Full-Time position.

What you will do:

  • Drive new sales initiatives with expected business growth
  • Acquire and nurture long-term relationships with Luxury travel advisors, concierges and boutique agencies
  • Translate travel advisor needs into bespoke Disney event solutions through story telling
  • Track ROI, develop product orientations and incentive programs to refine acquisition and retention tactics
  • Represent the client voice and event design to all internal partners, including catering, event operations, show directors
  • Manage contracts, credit terms, and vital event approvals
  • Be accountable for personal sales efficiency, forecasting and accurate sales tracking monthly
  • Create and maintain internal relationships, for collaboration in decision-making, problem-solving, and sharing information with clients, peers, and partners

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven ability to navigate high-touch sales cycles and elevate the perception of value over price
  • Experience in creating scalable business-to-business distribution models with luxury travel intermediaries
  • Proven abilities implementing Customer Relationship Management strategies and co-branded marketing efforts
  • Extensive knowledge of global luxury travel networks
  • 3+ years of consultative selling with emphasis on trust, personalization, and discretion
  • Proven client management and relationship building abilities
  • Familiarity with the expectations, behaviors, and preferences of affluent travelers
  • Understanding of current market conditions in Events Industry
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all Disney products and services
  • Experience in event planning including Food and Beverage, Photography, Decor, and Entertainment
Required Education:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Experience representing Luxury travel brands that cater to high-net-worth individuals'
  • Background in hospitality, private events, or experiential offerings
  • Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) Certification

The hiring range for this position in Orlando, Florida, is $68,600.00-$91,900.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
