What You Would Get To Do

The Event Technology Operations Manager leads operations for Dealogic's Conference Manager platform, ensuring consistent and high-quality delivery across global events. This role oversees event websites, registration pathways, attendee communications, quality assurance, staffing, and team performance while serving as a key client and vendor contact. The Event Technology Operations Manager drives platform adoption, process improvement, governance, training, and the development of standardized tools and best practices. The position also maintains hands-on responsibility for website builds, reporting, templates, and other event technology projects as required.

Your Contributions:

  • Lead operations for client platform(s) within the global events technology program, ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery across conferences and events.
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of event registration websites, attendee communications, registration pathways, and related technology solutions, ensuring projects are completed accurately and within established service-level agreements.
  • Serve as the primary client contact for Conference Manager operations, providing strategic direction, platform guidance, issue resolution, and ongoing support.
  • Act as the main point of contact for staffing and resource requirements related to Conference Manager website builds, identifying capacity needs and coordinating appropriate coverage.
  • Partner with Lines of Business, event planning, attendee data management, event registration, internal technology teams, and the platform vendor to prioritize system fixes, enhancements, and product improvements.
  • Communicate Dealogic's product roadmap, platform updates, new releases, and anticipated changes to relevant stakeholders and delivery teams.
  • Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures, best practices, workflows, governance standards, and quality-control processes for Conference Manager.
  • Create and maintain user guides, tutorials, training materials, and other knowledge-sharing resources to improve platform adoption and promote consistency across teams.
  • Training of new joiners in using Conference Manager
  • Manage and develop a team of web builders, including:
    • Reviewing project requirements and preparing and assigning website builds.
    • Monitoring workloads, capacity, priorities, and delivery timelines.
    • Conducting quality assurance reviews of event websites and communications.
    • Providing ongoing coaching, training, and performance feedback.
    • Addressing quality or performance concerns and supporting individual development.
    • Ensure adherence to KPIs and SLAs as required for the team.
  • Lead continuous-improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, strengthen quality, reduce manual effort, and improve the overall client and attendee experience.

What We Are Looking For
  • 8–10+ years of related experience in event technology, registration technology, attendee management, or a comparable event operations environment.
  • Advanced expertise in Dealogic's Conference Manager platform is preferred
  • Previous people management, team leadership, or supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • General knowledge of HTML and CSS preferred
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously, supported by strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Highly motivated and self-directed, with the ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and learn new technology platforms with limited guidance.
  • Strong critical-thinking and strategic problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify issues and implement practical solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional, approachable, and customer-focused demeanor.
