We produce one-of-a-kind catered events and unparalleled dining experiences in a variety of cultural, corporate, entertainment, and private venues throughout New York City and beyond.

Job Summary

We are seeking an operationally savvy Events & Operations Manager, holding duties related to successful execution and coordination for catering and events in the club, offices, and residences to join our team.  This person is part of the F&B Management team and will also help with managing all F&B outlets.  Detail-oriented and proactive by nature, this person will ensure execution of event service are up to luxury hospitality standards.  This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments, enjoys problem-solving on the go, and has a strong passion for service.  The position entails a need for excellent communication skills; ability to manage the staff, continue to build service standards and run an event from start to finish. 

Events

  • Oversees all operations for events including managing scheduling, all operational preparations needed, conducting event pre shifts, and leading the event staff to host successful events 
  • Oversee venue setup, ensuring  polished presentation in line with luxury hospitality standards 
  • Liaise between club management, vendors, and internal teams to ensure flawless timing and execution 
  • Oversee service flow in collaboration with F&B staff, ensuring premium dining and beverage experiences 
  • Ability to assist with a la carte service/restaurant operations when not needed for events 
  • Carries out FOH administrative tasks such as payroll, invoicing, scheduling, inventory, ordering 
  • Maintains and develops accurate financial and administrative records 
  • Supports catering, deliveries, pantry stocking, and service for all offices and residences with a focus on events 

 

 

F&B OUTLETS

  • The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for managing daily service in all outlets, quality control, and a consistent customer experience under the direction of the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage.
  • Ensures an exceptional member, guest and staff experience is executed at all times in all areas.  Monitors, directs, coaches, and guides all staff on the floor to accomplish this.
  • Manages operations in restaurants, bars, lounges, event spaces, private rooms as needed.
  • Actively participates in service, performing functions of all positions including servers, runners, bussers, bartenders, barbacks, hosts as needed.  Covers stations when needed.
  • Works all shifts as needed, including opening and closing service for the day.
  • Responsible for training the staff on and upholding steps of service, service standards, uniform standards, and a sense of enlightened hospitality.
  • Updates pre-shift notes daily and runs pre-shift meetings daily.
  • Checks to make sure all positions are completing sidework tasks for all day parts in all areas.
  • Monitors the reservation system and books daily, making adjustments as needed.
  • In charge of making floor plans daily assigning staff members designated areas of service and sidework.
What you bring

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • 3+ years leadership in directing event service, managing people, and the overall guest experience - in a luxury hospitality environment is preferred. 
  • Strong organization, time management and team motivation skills are essential for success in this role 
  • Experience in banquet service and event operations 
  • Ability to respond effectively to continuously changing demands 
  • Fluency in TripleSeat or other event management software 
  • Ability to respond effectively to continuously changing demands 
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with clients, teammates, senior management, and Commissary team. 
  • Specific experience with programs like Cater Xpert, Microsoft Excel, Tripleseat, Compass OMS. 
  • Must be able to work flexible hours evenings, weekends, and holidays (event-based schedule)
