The position works closely with the project leadership team, client representatives, and local stakeholders to support community outreach, site-related events, and day-to-day coordination throughout the life of the project.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is organized, people-oriented, and comfortable representing a large construction project in a small-community setting.
Key Responsibilities
Community Engagement & Local Outreach
  • Serve as Holder's on-site point of contact for community groups, neighbors, schools, chambers, and civic organizations related to the MNO project
  • Support community outreach efforts, local initiatives, and sponsorships connected to project activity
  • Coordinate site tours, community meetings, and outreach events as appropriate
  • Help foster and maintain positive relationships with local stakeholders throughout construction

Events & Project Coordination
  • Plan and support project-related events, including groundbreakings, milestones, ribbon cuttings, open houses, and community engagement events
  • Manage event logistics such as scheduling, vendors, catering, invitations, and on-site execution
  • Coordinate with project leadership, owner representatives, trade partners, and local officials as needed
  • Support accurate tracking and documentation of event and outreach activities

Communications & Documentation Support

  • Prepare light materials for events and outreach (signage, agendas, handouts, talking points)
  • Track and organize records of community interactions, events, and outreach efforts
  • Provide summaries and basic reporting to project leadership and the project owner

Internal Project Support
  • Work closely with the on-site project team to align community and event efforts with jobsite operations
  • Support visits from Holder leadership, client representatives, and other stakeholders
  • Help ensure materials and messaging align with approved project standards and branding
  • Support planning and execution of intern and workforce-related events, including site orientations and engagement activities

Qualifications & Skills
  • 2-5 years of experience in community relations, event coordination, operations support, communications, or a related field
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and follow-through skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks and working independently in an active jobsite environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willingness to support broader project and team needs as they arise
  • Comfortable interacting with the public and representing an active construction project
  • Experience with construction, large developments, infrastructure, or industrial projects is a plus
