Product Owner - Event Management

Role Overview

The Product Manager for Activities defines product outcomes that deliver measurable customer value and business impact across Jonas's Activities suite. This role ensures the organization invests in the right solutions by combining deep customer insight, market awareness, financial accountability, and strong crossfunctional alignment.

A key competency of this role will be to embrace our AIDriven Development Lifecycle (AIDLC) to transform how we build software. This concept combines human expertise with AI to accelerate discovery, design, and delivery. Product Managers and Product Owners play a central role by using AI tools to rapidly develop insights, shape requirements, then collaborate closely with Engineering to bring innovative solutions to market with greater speed and precision.

This role oversees the modernization and evolution of the Activities product suite, including Dining Management, Court Booking, Event Management, Lessons, Classes, Appointments, and other activitydriven experiences. The Product Manager partners closely with the Activities Product Owner to translate strategy into execution, while retaining accountability for product direction, prioritization, and business outcomes.


Compensation & Role Details:

Expected Salary Range: The expected base salary range for this role is between $95,000 - $105,000 CAD, depending on experience and qualifications

Market & Business Impact

  • Understand customer segments, operational workflows, and unmet needs across club activities such as dining, events, courts, and bookings
  • Identify where existing solutions fall short for staff efficiency, member experience, and operational reliability
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive offerings across hospitality, reservations, scheduling, and event management
  • Validate opportunities through customer conversations, market feedback, and internal stakeholder input
  • Support pricing, packaging, and monetization strategies across the Activities suite
  • Build business cases and support ROIbased prioritization of modernization initiatives
  • Track adoption, usage, retention, and revenue contribution of Activities products


Product Strategy & Prioritization

  • Define clear product outcomes and success metrics for the Activities suite
  • Establish priorities that balance customer needs, operational efficiency, and revenue impact
  • Drive modernization efforts that replace or significantly improve legacy activity workflows
  • Make informed tradeoffs between scope, timing, and longterm platform sustainability
  • Align leadership and stakeholders on investment decisions and sequencing
  • Ensure product strategy remains grounded in real club operating environments


CrossFunctional Alignment

  • Partner closely with UX, Engineering, and Operations to guide solution direction
  • Work handinhand with the Activities Product Owner to ensure delivery aligns to defined outcomes
  • Communicate priorities, timelines, risks, and outcomes clearly across teams
  • Support gotomarket planning, internal enablement, and adoption readiness
  • Engage with Sales, Support, and Client Experience teams to ensure solutions meet market needs


Continuous Improvement & Performance

  • Monitor product performance and customer feedback across dining, courts, events, and bookings
  • Identify opportunities to improve usability, reliability, and operational efficiency
  • Drive improvements that increase adoption, satisfaction, and longterm retention
