About the Role

LabX Media Group is searching for a marketing expert to direct attendee growth initiatives for our diverse range of executive summits and live industry conferences.


Under the Associate Director of Marketing, you will manage comprehensive campaigns intended to boost registration numbers, enhance conference revenue, and deepen community involvement. Collaborating with cross-functional teams in sales, editorial, and production, you will implement analytical strategies that ensure high turnout and provide value to our event sponsors.


The ideal applicant pairs tactical marketing vision with practical campaign management and superior communication skills. You will be instrumental in broadening our audience via multi-channel outreach, including social media, digital advertising, strategic partnerships, and original content creation.


Beyond leading promotion, you will act as a primary representative for the organization, networking with presenters, contributors, and prominent industry professionals during our events.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct attendee growth initiatives and marketing campaigns for executive summits and live industry conferences
  • Manage comprehensive campaigns to boost registration numbers and drive conference revenue
  • Develop and execute multi-channel outreach strategies, including social media, digital advertising, strategic partnerships, and original content
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, editorial, and production teams to align marketing efforts with event goals

What You Bring (Qualifications):

  • 3–5 years of dedicated B2B event marketing or conference promotion experience.
  • Proficiency with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo), email marketing systems, and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Comfortable using Google Analytics and event platform data to track campaign performance and pivot strategies in real time.
  • Exceptional copywriting skills tailored for executive audiences, alongside strong interpersonal skills for high-level networking.


Travel:

  • Willingness to travel to live conferences.


Compensation:

  • The expected salary range for this position is $55,000 - $70,000 CAD per year, commensurate with
    experience. Benefits package includes health and dental coverage, paid vacation, and professional development support.
