We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Events Assistant to join our growing team in Detroit, MI. This position plays a key role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of events from concept through completion. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized team player with excellent communication and time management skills.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning and organizing events, including logistics, timelines, and vendor coordination
  • Support on-site event execution and troubleshooting
  • Maintain and update event schedules, budgets, and documentation
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure smooth operations
  • Prepare materials, presentations, and follow-up reports
  • Assist in managing event inventory and supplies
  • Conduct site visits and assist with venue arrangements
  • Provide administrative support as needed to the Events Manager

Qualifications
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Communications, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
  • 1-2 years of experience in event coordination or administrative support (internships considered)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
