Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Executive Chef position.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple venues and the food production staff. Creates new recipes and ensures the quality of food items. Responsible for building menus, ordering food and non-food items, and managing schedules that meet budgeted guidelines. Enforces all policies and food safety regulations. Coordinates the recruitment and retention efforts of the food production staff. Conducts regular production meetings to drive employee engagement.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • Degree in Culinary Arts (preferred)
  • Minimum of ten years' experience in a full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club/hotel, or cruise line environment
  • Knowledge of the food industry and trends
  • In-depth knowledge of Federal, State, and local food safety regulations
