Job description

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Performs housekeeping and specialized cleaning Remove trash throughout the building. Clean restrooms, dressing rooms, and waiting rooms and all theaters. Mop, scrub, sweep, wax, renovate, wash interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Event and Performance Preparation and Breakdown
    Unlock waiting rooms, classrooms and rehearsal rooms.
    Secure classrooms and rehearsal spaces after each event.
    Unlock waiting rooms, classrooms and rehearsal rooms.
    Setup and tear down risers and platform devices after the event(s).
    Plans, coordinates, implements, and set up academic, catering and performance events.
    Assist with truck loading and unloading.
  • Maintenance
    Coordinate necessary maintenance of equipment and materials in an efficient and secure manner.
    Unlock and remove exterior fire blocks.
    Check exterior lighting and report findings of damage items.
    Monitor and track inventory.
    Remove and shovel snow during winter conditions.
    Provide the conversion of maintenance of facilities and equipment such as the CFR and power scrubber in a large multi-purpose building such as the Krannert Center.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
