POSITION SUMMARY


Jackson & Company is seeking a driven, relationship-focused Event Venue Sales Manager to generate new business and drive revenue growth across our hospitality and event brands. This role is responsible for prospecting, developing client relationships, conducting venue tours, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and converting inquiries into booked events.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated sales professional who enjoys networking, building relationships, and consistently achieving sales goals. This is a revenue-generating position focused on business development, lead conversion, and maximizing event revenue.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Business Development & Sales

  • Generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, community involvement, and industry relationships.
  • Manage and convert inbound sales inquiries from phone, email, website, social media, and referral sources.
  • Conduct venue tours and sales presentations for prospective clients.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with event planners, wedding professionals, corporate clients, nonprofit organizations, and referral partners.
  • Attend networking events, bridal shows, community events, and industry functions to promote company brands.
  • Actively pursue new revenue opportunities and strategic partnerships.

Revenue Generation

  • Achieve individual sales goals and performance metrics.
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and accurate forecasting.
  • Maximize venue revenue through strategic selling and upselling opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to increase food, beverage, rental, and ancillary revenue.
  • Consistently follow up with prospects to improve conversion rates.

Client Experience

  • Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the sales process.
  • Build trust and long-term relationships with clients.
  • Facilitate planning meetings and ensure a seamless handoff to operations teams.
  • Deliver a high-touch client experience that reflects the company’s hospitality standards.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales activity.
  • Prepare proposals, contracts, estimates, and event documentation.
  • Track sales performance, lead activity, and pipeline reporting.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and strategic planning discussions.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience required.
  • Hospitality, venue, catering, hotel, wedding, luxury retail, or event industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Highly organized with excellent follow-through.
  • Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and attending events as required.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
