HIRING NOW! UNARMED RETAIL SECURITY OFFICER

SCHEDULE: TUESDAY - SATURDAY
Responsibilities of Security Officers include, but are not limited to:
Core Patrol & Visibility
  • Conduct continuous foot and vehicle patrols of exterior property, parking lots, walkways, loading docks, and perimeter areas.
  • Maintain a high-visibility security presence to deter unwanted activity and promote guest safety.
  • Monitor for suspicious behavior, unauthorized access, loitering, vandalism, and safety hazards.
Safety & Incident Response
  • Respond promptly to security incidents, disturbances, alarms, and emergency situations occurring outdoors.
  • Provide first-response support until law enforcement, EMS, or fire personnel arrive.
  • Document all incidents with clear, accurate, and timely reports.
Customer Service & Public Interaction
  • Offer professional assistance to guests, tenants, and employees, including directions, escorts, and general support.
  • Engage with the public in a calm, respectful manner while enforcing property rules.
Property Protection
  • Inspect exterior doors, gates, lighting, fencing, and access points to ensure they are secure and functioning.
  • Identify and report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and environmental concerns.
  • Support loss-prevention efforts by monitoring loading zones, deliveries, and back-of-house areas.
Compliance & Communication
  • Maintain radio communication with dispatch, supervisors, and fellow officers.
  • Follow all company policies, post orders, and emergency procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with onsite management, local police, and emergency responders when needed.
Special Assignments
  • Provide security coverage for events, activations, and high-traffic periods in outdoor spaces.
  • Assist with crowd management, line control, and perimeter monitoring during peak activity.

Required Qualifications of Security Officers:
  • At least 21 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Non-commissioned/unarmed security license via DOPL
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Familiarity with report writing
  • Computer skills required
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office or Google Workplace
  • Monitoring and surveillance experience
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Preferred Qualifications of Security Officers:
• Bi-lingual considered a plus
