The Role

The event Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all guests, team members, and assets of the arena. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a safe environment by preventing incidents, maintaining order, and responding quickly to incidents. The security team remains vigilant to support a secure and positive experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

โ€ข Respond to all safety and security calls in a professional and timely manner

โ€ข Interact and respond to arena guests, vendors, and employees in a courteous and professional manner

โ€ข Complete all assigned tasks within the guidelines and deadlines set by Security Managers and Supervisors

โ€ข Comply with all legal and ethical instructions given by the Security Managers and Supervisors

โ€ข Comply with and adhere to the Department's performance, conduct, and attendance standards

โ€ข Adhere to the Security Department's prime directives

โ€ข Exhibit exemplary conduct and appearance while on duty

โ€ข Investigate incidents and compile information for official reports

โ€ข Other duties as deemed necessary or as directed

Education and/or Experience

โ€ข A minimum education level of High School Diploma or its equivalency

โ€ข Minimum of 0-2 years work experience

โ€ข Must be 18 years of age or older

Skills and Abilities

โ€ข Ability to represent the Security Department in an exemplary manner

โ€ข Ability to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature without the loss of efficiency or composure

โ€ข Ability to maintain guests, team members, and company confidentiality

โ€ข Ability to effectively perform in crisis and work under pressure without the loss of composure

โ€ข Ability to memorize, recollect, and quickly retrieve relevant information

โ€ข Ability to interact effectively and calmly with angry or emotional patrons during intensely aggravated circumstances

โ€ข Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

โ€ข Must be able to work a minimum of 50% of booked events
