Job description

Overview
Hybrid - Lucky Strike Addison
Role
As an Event Sales Specialist on the Core team, you'll own the full sales cycle for corporate outings, social events, and organizational gatherings for groups of 13 up to 100 guests. This isn't just inbound - you'll build pipeline, work your territory, and grow lasting relationships that bring guests back year after year. We lead with presence - Lucky Strike Entertainment operates a camera-first policy. All video calls with clients and internal stakeholders require cameras on, and we expect associates to show up polished and professional - that means appropriate attire, a clean environment, and the kind of executive presence that reflects the brand we represent.
What You'll Do
Convert and Close
  • Handle inbound leads and outbound outreach for groups of 13 up to 100 guests across corporate, social, and organizational events
  • Own the full booking cycle - from first contact through signed contract
  • Match every group to the right venue, package, and experience for their needs and budget
  • Work high volume across multiple event types without letting anything fall through the cracks

Build Your Pipeline
  • Own all local business outreach in your territory - building relationships with companies, organizations, and community groups
  • Prospect, develop, and grow new accounts to consistently build pipeline beyond inbound leads

Hit Your Numbers
  • Work toward a quarterly quota, paid monthly on a tiered basis - stronger performance means stronger earnings
  • A Commission QRG will detail exactly how your pay is structured from day one

Pass the Right Leads
  • Lead under 12 guests? Pass to the Call Center and earn 15% quota credit. Top corporate account? Pass to Enterprise. When a lead is passed to you and you close it, you earn 85% quota credit

Own the Event Experience
  • Lead BEO meetings for your events - showing up prepared is a key part of delivering what you promised
  • Partner with venue ops teams to ensure seamless execution from contract to celebration

Stay with the Guest
  • Own retention outreach across all group sizes - bringing past guests back and passing qualifying accounts to the right segment
  • Follow up post-event to strengthen relationships and build your repeat booking pipeline

Show Up When It Counts
  • Evenings, weekends, and holidays are our busiest times - and that's when we need you most

What You'll Bring
  • You don't need to check every box - but here's what sets the best candidates apart.
  • Background in sales, hospitality, or event planning - group or event sales experience a strong plus
  • Proven ability to manage a high-volume pipeline across multiple event types simultaneously
  • Confident prospector - you're comfortable picking up the phone and going after new business
  • Strong communicator who builds rapport quickly and knows how to close
  • Feedback-driven and eager to grow - you use coaching to get better, not just move on
  • Organized and detail-oriented - because every event has a contract, a timeline, and a guest who's counting on you
  • Comfortable with Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Excel, and event management tools like GEMS
  • Adaptable - corporate buyouts and birthday parties require very different conversations

What You'll Get
At Lucky Strike Entertainment, we're committed to your well-being on and off the job:
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision plans to select from based on your needs
  • 401(K) Retirement Plans and Employee Stock Purchase Program
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Wellness resources, Vacation and Holidays
  • Perks - Bowling, Boomers and Waterpark discounts, retail and event discounts, and more
