Job Summary/Description:

KTVF Fairbanks is looking for a dynamic Sales & Promotions Coordinator who can help manage and execute sales promotions, sponsorships, and special events in collaboration with our Sales Department.

This is an administrative support role responsible for ensuring sales commitments and promotional/event deliverables are executed accurately and on time. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter, organized, detail-oriented, and energized by helping a team win, who can adapt as our sales processes evolve. The chosen candidate will receive full benefits, including 401 (k), medical/dental/vision, PTO, and opportunities for bonus compensation.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

- Provide reliable day-to-day support for Sales Management and Sales Staff to achieve station goals.
- Develop and maintain sales collateral in collaboration with the Sales Manager, including online and printed materials for sales staff and other projects as assigned by Management.
- Maintain tracking sheets for all sales promotions, sponsorships, and special events.
- Collaborate with Sales and Management on campaign execution needs, including website landing pages, contest setup/management, and related assets.
- Assist in the promotion of sales-related initiatives and special events or sponsorships across our station's social channels (primarily Facebook), broadcast channels, website, and apps.
- Regularly monitor and communicate website performance and campaign delivery for various annual campaigns, contests, promotions, and others.
- Utilize our CRM tool to manage and organize a database of client or prospective client contacts as it relates to general communications on behalf of the Sales Department for reasons such as mailing or emailing event invitations or information, mailing holiday cards, and other communications as needed.
- Assist in the startup process for digital campaigns by providing research and playing an active role in onboarding new campaigns, monitoring delivery, and reporting.
- Coordinate the delivery and collection of sales-related information or materials to or from clients for sponsorships, special events, promotions, or other events.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- 18 years of age or older.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for transportation.
- Proactive and resourceful, can anticipate needs, next steps, and take initiative to improve processes.
- Adaptable mindset, comfortable with evolving processes and improving workflows.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective verbal and written communication.
- Motivated by helping others and thrives in a team environment.
- Basic organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Detail and accuracy driven, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Ability to take initiative by using problem-solving and decision-making skills with minimal direction.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite products such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Comfortable with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Experience in marketing and sales is preferred, but not required.
