As the Risk Management Specialist, you will support the Company Vehicle Operations (CVO) program by managing policy violation reviews, claims processes, and risk-related reporting. You will oversee the Review Board process, analyze driver record data, and coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure compliance with company policies. This role requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills to investigate potential risks, track cases, and support risk management initiatives that protect the program and the organization.
Salary Overview:
The salary rate for this role is between $60,000-$70,000 based on experience.
Hours:
The hours for this role are Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm.
Risk Management Specialist Responsibilities Include:
  • Manage the Review Board process for policy violations, including information gathering, documentation, tracking, reporting, and communication with program participants and internal departments.
  • Make disciplinary recommendations based on Review Board findings and ensure compliance with all Review Board decisions, including vehicle turn-ins, fee collection, and completion of administrative documentation.
  • Serve as the primary administrator of the DriverCare website to analyze driver record data and identify system issues or potential Review Board cases.
  • Collaborate with the claims and automated driving record vendor to ensure Company Car and Stellantis business needs are being met.
  • Oversee the claims process by working closely with body shops to ensure repairs are completed in a timely manner.
  • Analyze and investigate claim reports to identify potential corporate risk and ensure appropriate action is taken.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of risk management initiatives and training modules for program participants.
  • Develop and maintain reporting and analysis procedures related to the claims process.
  • Coordinate and communicate with Stellantis departments, employees, dealers, and auction houses to resolve program-related issues.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, while interacting with employees at all levels.
  • Maintain high levels of organization and attention to detail in all case management and reporting activities.
  • Utilize analytical, customer service, and critical thinking skills to address issues effectively.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive program, claims, or employee information.
  • Adhere to Suburban Automotive Service's DRIVEN values and align business practices to support the SAS mission and vision.

Risk Management Specialist Qualifications and Skills:
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Must meet company background check and drug screen requirements.
  • Consistent work history and attendance record.
  • Ability to multitask with strong follow-up skills.
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail.
  • Experience managing claims, risk management processes, or policy compliance preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, and OneDrive.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Risk Management Specialist Working Conditions and Physical Demands Include:
  • 90% of the time, this job will be completed while sitting.
