Job Description:

In this role, you will drive planning, coordination, and execution across cross-functional teams-ensuring seamless demonstrations, efficient logistics, and sustained customer success. Working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, you'll turn strategy into action, keep teams aligned, and play a key role in delivering high-impact solutions on time and at scale.
What you'll do:

Demo Project Manager Tasks:

  • Generate demonstration plans
  • Conduct demonstration event logistics planning
  • Coordinate with Go-To-Market leads and customers
  • Establish and maintain project action plans and risk metrics
  • Generate and maintain project schedules
  • Coordinate participation of personnel for demonstration events
  • Establish and lead a consistent cadence of well-organized, well-facilitated, and effective meetings, including driving all preparation and follow up activities
  • Manage project budgets
  • Manage and organize customer correspondence
  • Coordinate import/export regulatory compliance - ITAR and EAR
  • Facilitate fuel availability and procurement
  • Review, understand, and comply with proposals and contracts
  • Drive subcontractor performance as applicable

Assistant Program Manager for Logistics Tasks:

  • Act as the key point of contact for the sustainment portion of programs  
  • Drive program execution of Engineering Change Order (ECO) implementation tasks in the company's Product Lifecycle Management Software
  • Ensure Service Bulletins are released and disseminated to customers, and track their incorporation into fielded hardware.
  • Provide continuous, real-time readiness tracking of customer hardware (aircraft, payloads, ground support equipment, etc)
  • Serve as the programmatic point of contact for customer requested warranty and non-warranty repairs, to include RMAs to vendors.
  • Serve as Deployed Operations Field Service Representatives primary point of contact within the program office
  • Represent customer programs in managing Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortage issues.
  • Maintain real-time awareness of customer hardware inventory levels, both within Shield AI's facilities as well as at customer sites.  Coordinate replenishment at intervals appropriate to customer usage rates.
  • Ensure all customers have access to the most up-to-date technical manuals and bulletins applicable to their hardware configuration.
  • Provide customer feedback to internal teams regarding maintainability and sustainability issues.

General Tasks:

  • Deliver proven, exceptional, and reliable performance in support of customer/end-user's mission through flawless project management.
  • Effectively collaborate, motivate, and lead relevant stakeholders to successfully deliver early, under budget, and with exceptional technical performance. 
  • Complete critical path analyses including the evaluation of potential means to accelerate the pace or mitigate identified risks 
  • Identify potential bottlenecks or delays in projects and drive efforts to ensure projects stay on schedule 
  • Partner with leadership to guide prioritization of projects and utilization of resources
  • Support an environment where accountability and program execution excellence are core. 
  • Report directly to Shield AI's Senior Director of V-BAT Program Management
Required qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Project Management experience, including managing schedules, budgets, resources, and events
  • Experience with scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheet
  • Significant experience and excellent skills with Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent skills in leadership, time management, organization, and team management.
  • Theoretical and practical project management knowledge
  • Application of project management techniques and tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally and domestically as needed
  • A demonstrated record of working hard, being a trustworthy teammate, holding yourself and others to a high standard, and being kind to others
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles
  • Familiarity with aviation product delivery, maintenance, sustainment, and field support
  • Undergraduate degree in engineering or business
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
