**This is a hybrid position that requires 2 days per week in office at our Chicago location**

Syndigo is seeking a strategic and execution-focused Event Marketing Director to lead our Americas events strategy and delivery. This role will own the end-to-end lifecycle of our event portfolioโ€”from industry tradeshows to owned conferences to internal programsโ€”driving measurable pipeline impact and exceptional brand experiences.

Youโ€™ll partner closely with Sales, Solutions Consulting, Customer Success, and Marketing to ensure every event is purposeful, well-integrated, and aligned to revenue goals. This is a highly cross-functional role for someone who thrives in both big-picture planning and detailed execution.

HOW WEโ€™LL BE WINNING TOGETHER DAY TO DAY

  • Event Strategy & Portfolio Management
    • Define and lead Syndigoโ€™s overall event marketing strategy across tradeshows, hosted events, and internal programs
    • Build and manage an annual events calendar aligned to company priorities, target audiences, and pipeline goals
    • Establish clear success metrics for each event, including pipeline contribution, engagement, and ROI
    • Analyze event performance and provide insights to improve future programs
    • Track and report on pipeline influence, ROI, and key engagement metrics
  • Tradeshow & Field Event Execution
    • Own planning and execution of a diverse portfolio of industry tradeshows (large-scale flagship events to targeted field activations)
    • Partner with Sales to identify target accounts and design pre-event outreach strategies
    • Collaborate internally to drive awareness, meetings, registrations, and booth traffic
    • Ensure strong onsite execution including booth experience, staffing, messaging, and lead capture
  • Conference & Hosted Event Leadership
    • Lead the development of Syndigo-hosted events from concept through execution
    • Oversee venue sourcing, contract negotiation, and space planning
    • Oversee all aspects of event production including registration, agenda development, speaker coordination, catering, and A/V
    • Create compelling attendee experiences that reflect Syndigoโ€™s brand and deliver meaningful value
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Coordinate closely with Sales, Solutions Consultants, Product Marketing, and Customer teams to align messaging and goals
    • Manage speaker preparation and internal enablement for event participation
    • Partner with Demand Generation to ensure strong pre-event promotion and post-event follow-up
  • Internal Events
    • Oversee planning and execution of internal events such as sales kickoffs, leadership meetings, and team gatherings
    • Ensure internal programs are engaging, well-organized, and aligned to company culture and objectives

WE SHOULD TALK IF THIS SOUNDS LIKE YOU

  • 8+ years of experience in event marketing, with a strong focus on B2B SaaS or ecommerce
  • Proven track record of managing both large-scale conferences and high-impact tradeshows
  • Deep understanding of how events drive pipeline and revenue in a B2B environment
  • Frameworks and best practices for driving efficiency in event planning and execution
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously with a high degree of quality
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills
  • Experience working closely with Sales teams to drive event-driven pipeline

Your individual compensation within the budgeted salary range is determined based on your skills, education, experience, and internal equity. This position is Bonus Eligible.
