Job description

Production Baker

Queen Anne, Seattle, WA

The Production Baker is responsible for production from start to finish. Directly reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Baker fulfills all daily production requirements. When not preparing dough and operating ovens, the Production Baker works closely with the Production Manager and General Manager to ensure quality is being met. This position requires a reliable individual who has strong interpersonal skills, is flexible, and has a strong work ethic.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Produce high quality baked goods, consistently. This includes the ability to conduct quality control evaluations and working constructively with the other bakers to correct any deficiencies. 
  • Demonstrate understanding of the production process from preparing dough, lamination, bake off, and finishing.
  • Maintain a clean production area and hold standards of cleanliness in all production areas, ovens, and equipment.
  • Help maintain an organized and efficient bakery.
  • Must be able to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining quality. 
  • Must be able to repeatedly reach, lift, bend, and stand for long periods of time.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a team.

  • 1 year of professional baking experience
  • A valid Washington State Food Worker Permit
  • Reliable Transportation
  • Ability to stand for duration of all shifts and lift 50 pounds regularly
