Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of major event workstreams, encompassing content program management, exhibition planning, onsite execution, and comprehensive post-event analysis.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project timelines, key milestones, critical deliverables, comprehensive workback schedules, and precise run-of-show documents.
  • Manage all aspects of speaker coordination, exhibition or showcase planning, contract negotiations, approval processes, dependency tracking, and intricate event logistics.
  • Present workstream progress and challenges to senior leadership, providing timely status updates, identifying potential roadblocks, and proposing effective solutions.
  • Collaborate strategically with fellow event managers, design program managers, marketing teams, and diverse cross-functional stakeholders to ensure cohesive execution.
  • Drive assigned workstreams forward with a high degree of autonomy, a sense of urgency, and consistently clear communication.
  • Oversee onsite execution during live events, demonstrating quick problem-solving skills to resolve issues efficiently as they arise.
  • Conduct thorough post-event data analysis and formulate actionable recommendations for continuous program improvements.
  • Ensure the highest quality execution across all facets, including attendee experience, stakeholder satisfaction, and operational delivery.

Must-Have Qualifications
  • 7+ years of professional experience in event management, event production, experiential marketing, or event program management.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale corporate events, ideally those with 3,000 or more attendees.
  • Extensive experience owning event workstreams from initial planning stages through to successful onsite execution.
  • Proficiency in using industry-standard event management software.
  • Experience with industry-standard project management tools.
  • Strong expertise in building detailed workback schedules, project timelines, defining milestones, and creating comprehensive run-of-show documents.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate confidently and professionally with senior leadership.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and comfort utilizing data and metrics to enhance future programs.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications
  • Experience supporting events within a large technology company environment.
  • Previous experience working with large event production agencies or experiential marketing agencies.
  • Familiarity with exhibition, showcase, or conference floor planning.
