Role:ย 

Be a contributing member of the Film Content team by helping in any and/or all aspects of the production process.ย 


Responsibilities:ย 

  • Working alongside the Creative Arts team to learn and help with all phases of video creation from collaborative ideation, storyboarding and filming through post-production and effectiveness debriefย 
  • Asset gathering (photo, video, or other) and ideation for social media purposesย 
  • Carry out other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
  • Align to and live out the Westwood Staff Values: Head High, Heart Soft, Arms Linked, Feet Forward

Relationships:ย 

  • Reports to designated Filmmakerย 
  • Collaborates with all ministry areas and broader Creative Arts team in producing creative video contentย 
  • Works alongside volunteers in various rolesย 

Requirements

  • Familiarity with professional video cameras and other related gearย 
  • Familiarity with professional video editing softwareย 
  • 1-2 years education and/or experience in professional video productionย 
  • Comfortable using the Adobe Creative Cloud suiteย 
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and basic operation of a computerย 
  • Ability to work in teamย 
  • Ability to meet deadlinesย 
  • Ability to perform under stressย 
  • Ability to receive constructive feedbackย ย 
  • High capacity to learn new thingsย 
  • Ability to follow through on tasks and follow through with peopleย 
  • Familiarity with both Mac and PC operating systems helpfulย
