Position Overview:

The Ticket Sales Intern will work closely with the Ticket Sales, Group Sales, and Membership Services teams to implement Washington Mystics sales initiatives and achieve ticket sales and revenue goals. Internship experience will focus on the fundamentals of the sales process. This is a paid internship.

Responsibilities:
  • Research, expand, and manage the group sales database with focus on strategic categories for event planning purposes.
  • Make introductory phone calls to sales prospects.
  • Prepare various marketing items related to group initiatives and programs.
  • Build relationships to provide repeat business and excellent customer service.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Current undergraduate or graduate student.
  • Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
  • Exceptional work ethic, strong desire to succeed, eagerness to learn, a passion for the sports industry, and an interest in sales.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
