We are in search of a motivated and imaginative Event Planning Intern to join our team. This part-time internship offers hands-on involvement in organizing, coordinating, and executing a diverse range of internal and external events and sponsorships. We seek an individual who is passionate, detail-oriented, and eager to delve into the intricacies of event management.

What you will do:

  • Contribute to event conceptualization, design, and thematic development
  • Propose innovative ideas to enhance event experiences
  • Conduct research and help partner with vendors, venues, and suppliers when needed
  • Assist in budget management and financial analysis
  • Support event logistics, including attendee communications, registration, setup, breakdown, and onsite coordination
  • Provide administrative support to the event planning team as it relates to events, masterclasses, and promotional items
  • Gather and organize event feedback, attendance data, and post-event reporting
  • Help manage event materials, promotional items, giveaways, and signage
  • Support special projects and other event-related initiatives as assigned

What YOU will bring to C&F:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Event Management, or Hospitality from an accredited College/University
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Exceptional communications skills, both oral and written
  • Personal concern, interest, pride and accountability in all areas of responsibility
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Strong organization and time management skills, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work 2-days a week in Morristown, NJ
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, etc.) with a solid grasp of Microsoft Excel
  • A passion for creativity and innovation in event planning 
  • Some travel required

To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range. You may also have the opportunity to participate in discretionary equity (stock) based compensation and/or performance-based variable pay programs.
