THE POSITION

CSEC is currently seeking a motivated and responsible individual to join our Partnership Marketing team at Calgary Sport and Entertainment Corporation. As a key player assisting with our Partnership Marketing Fulfillment team, you will be instrumental in ensuring seamless communication with Sponsorship, Entertainment, and other crucial departments to guarantee events, programs, and activations align with the specific needs of our clients and events. This individual will be specifically focused on Hitmen and Roughnecks activations.

This is a fixed-term, paid internship.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Assist in coordinating and executing game day promotions for our valued clients.
  • Support the fulfillment of league sponsorship requirements to enhance our partnership standing.
  • Manage various in-office projects during your internship, providing handsโ€‘on experience in sponsorship fulfillment, event planning, and client servicing.
  • Work 34 Hitmen games and 9 Roughnecks games (plus playoffs), ensuring the utmost dedication to our commitments.
  • Attend one in-office day per week (hours and date to be mutually agreed upon).
  • Engage in various related duties as assigned to contribute to the overall success of the team.
THE INDIVIDUAL

The successful individual will have the following background:

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary education program focused on Marketing, Communications, and/or Sports Management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, demonstrating the ability to multitask and excel under pressure in a collaborative team environment.
  • A keen understanding of current social trends, coupled with a creative and innovative thought process, will be considered a significant asset.
  • Availability for the duration of the Hitmen and Roughnecks schedule, with an understanding that physical work may be required due to the nature of the business.
