rEvolution is seeking a freelance Onsite Event Manager with automotive experience to support some upcoming experiential events. This opportunity specifically seeks a BMW enthusiast with knowledge of BMW vehicle models, tire pairings, and product offerings.

In this role, reporting to the Associate Director, Experiential, you will be responsible for overseeing event staff, coordinating vehicle movements, managing production assets and serving as the primary operational lead for the experiential display elements.

You Will:

  • Lead all onsite event operations from load-in through load-out.
  • Manage venue logistics and serve as the primary onsite contact for event sites, vendors and operational partners
  • Coordinate vehicle transportation schedules, staging plans, and onsite vehicle movements
  • Develop and execute onsite operational timelines and production schedules
  • Troubleshoot logistical challenges and implement solutions
  • Lead setup and breakdown of event assets including signage, displays, hospitality areas, branding elements, etc.
  • Coordinate with production teams, labor crews and vendors to ensure timely and accurate execution
  • Collect post-event reporting metrics and photographs to share with the rEvolution team
  • Manage and direct onsite staff, brand ambassadors and support teams.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable BMW and client brand representative during events
  • Conduct onsite safety checks during setup, live event operations and teardown.


You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience managing live events, automotive activations, or experiential marketing programs
  • The ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time
  • A strong passion for BMW and extensive knowledge of BMW models and performance vehicles.
  • Experience managing onsite event staff and vendors
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • The ability to travel, be on-site for 4-7 days for each event.


This role is paid via separate day rates for event days ($375) and travel days ($200), and includes a daily per diem of $75.
