Carabell Leslie & Company is looking for a detail-oriented and driven Billing & Operations Coordinator to join their team in Mount Clemens, MI. Essential Responsibilities
Billing Administration
·         Coordinate the firm's billing process using Canopy.
·         Prepare, review, and process client invoices.
·         Review Work-in-Process (WIP) reports.
·         Monitor unbilled work and assist partners with billing completion.
·         Process invoice adjustments as approved.
·         Assist with Accounts Receivable tracking and collection follow-up.
·         Prepare monthly billing reports.
·         Maintain accurate billing records.

Administrative Operations
·         Support the day-to-day administrative operations of the firm.
·         Maintain administrative records and internal databases.
·         Coordinate document management and workflow.
·         Assist with engagement setup and administrative support.
·         Maintain operational procedures and documentation.
·         Support firm initiatives and special projects.
·         Assist with implementation of new administrative processes.

Process Improvement
·         Identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
·         Recommend workflow improvements.
·         Assist with developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures.
·         Identify bottlenecks and recommend practical solutions.
·         Support operational initiatives directed by the Director of Operations.
·         Assist with implementation of technology and process improvements.

Client Service
·         Professionally communicate with clients regarding billing and administrative matters.
·         Assist with client onboarding.
·         Support client portal setup and maintenance.
·         Coordinate administrative requests from clients.

Cross-Training & Office Support
·         Cross-train with other administrative staff.
·         Provide backup coverage for front office operations.
·         Assist with phones, mail, scheduling, and general office support as needed.
·         Support firm meetings and special events.

·         Experience with Canopy or similar practice management software preferred.
