Description
Crew Events is seeking Assistants for Event Operations, that will play an integral part in the planning, organization, and execution of soccer and non-soccer events, hosted at Historic Crew Stadium, ScottsMiracle-Gro Field, and the OhioHealth Performance Center.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Oversee the Credential Management process on event days:
    • Assist with printing, organizing and laminating the credentials for Match Operations.
    • Read and interpret event orders, task lists, and venue software to effectively approve, print and archive credentials
    • Distribute credentials through our Will Call Office using exemplary organization and communication.
  • Organize and manage a variety of events, both soccer and non-soccer, at our three venues:
    • Learn and utilize SharePoint, calendar management systems and other planning software to plan all events.
    • Create and distribute the documents used to drive all events including run of show, event briefs and budgeting sheets.
    • Manage smaller scale events that range from Soccer matches to corporate meetings.
  • Encouraged to prioritize and be available for 1st team Crew matches and MLS NextPro as needed
  • Work in tandem with all branches of the operations team, along with other departments in the organization
  • Effectively communicate with guests to create positive and memorable experiences
  • Oversee the execution of small scale events as the event lead.
  • Represent the Crew and MLS in all interactions
  • Other duties/tasks as assigned

Required Skills and Experience
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Experience coordinating events in a stadium or arena
  • Detailed oriented and highly organized
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve in high-stress, live event situations
  • Exceptional interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays and non-traditional hours.
