Marketing Manager
Role Summary
The Marketing Manager reports to practice leadership and is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating marketing initiatives that strengthen brand awareness, support patient engagement, and advance organizational growth. This role leads marketing strategy and execution across digital platforms, website content, community outreach, and promotional campaigns. The Marketing Manager serves as a key marketing resource for leadership and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent, effective, and compliant brand messaging.
Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Brand Management
  • Develop and execute marketing plans and campaigns that align with organizational goals and strategic priorities.
  • Identify opportunities to increase brand awareness, patient engagement, and community presence.
  • Ensure consistent brand standards and messaging across all marketing channels and materials.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and industry developments to recommend marketing initiatives and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop annual marketing priorities and communication strategies.

Digital & Social Media Marketing
  • Oversee the development, scheduling, and management of content across social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and emerging channels.
  • Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns that promote services, providers, educational content, and organizational initiatives.
  • Monitor social media performance and engagement metrics and recommend optimization strategies.
  • Foster community engagement through effective digital communication and content management.

Website & Digital Presence Management
  • Oversee website content strategy and ensure all content remains current, accurate, compliant, and aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Coordinate with external website developers, agencies, and marketing partners on enhancements and technical updates.
  • Manage SEO and SEM initiatives in partnership with external vendors to improve visibility and digital performance.
  • Evaluate website analytics and recommend improvements to support user experience and organizational goals.

Community Outreach & Event Marketing
  • Lead planning and execution of community outreach initiatives, health fairs, educational programs, awareness campaigns, and charitable events.
  • Develop strategies to enhance community engagement and strengthen organizational visibility.
  • Coordinate promotional materials, event communications, and marketing support for organizational programs and events.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with community organizations, referral sources, and strategic partners.

Marketing Operations & Analytics
  • Develop and maintain marketing calendars and campaign schedules.
  • Track, analyze, and report marketing performance metrics, including digital engagement, campaign effectiveness, website analytics, and event participation.
  • Prepare marketing reports and recommendations for leadership.
  • Assist with development and management of marketing budgets and vendor expenditures.
  • Manage relationships with external marketing agencies, consultants, media partners, and vendors.

General Responsibilities
  • Serve as a marketing subject matter resource for organizational leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ensure marketing activities comply with applicable healthcare regulations, privacy requirements, and organizational policies.
  • Support special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned to support the mission of improving the lives of everyone living with cancer.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Five (5) or more years of progressive marketing experience, preferably within healthcare or a related industry.
  • Experience developing and executing marketing strategies and multi-channel campaigns.
  • Experience managing external vendors, agencies, and marketing projects.
  • Proficiency with social media platforms and marketing tools, including Canva, Meta Business Suite, and analytics platforms.
  • Familiarity with website content management systems; Acquia/Drupal experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Graphic design experience is a plus.
