General Manager (Front of House)

New Parker John’s BBQ & Pizza – Stevens Point, WI


About Parker John’s BBQ & Pizza

Parker John’s BBQ & Pizza is a family-owned, full-service restaurant group proudly operating 6 successful locations across Wisconsin—with a new Wausau location opening this October. We’re known for our award-winning BBQ, handcrafted pizzas, strong catering business, and deep community involvement, including major events like Road America and EAA Air Venture Oshkosh.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Front of House General Manager to lead our new Stevens Point Location 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all front-of-house operations for a high-volume, full-service restaurant

  • Hire, train, coach, and motivate team members

  • Establish and maintain a positive, accountable work culture

  • Execute exceptional guest service and food quality standards

  • Manage scheduling, shift execution, and labor cost controls

  • Monitor sales, labor, and food costs to achieve financial goals

  • Handle guest feedback and complaint resolution professionally

  • Oversee ordering, inventory, and daily operational organization

  • Be actively present on the floor and lead during peak service periods

Qualifications

  • Previous front-of-house restaurant management experience required

  • Proven leadership and team development skills

  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations, scheduling, and cost controls

  • Ability to work the majority of shifts on your feet

  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends

  • Passion for hospitality and building great teams

  • Willingness to train in Different location (aprox-4 weeks) 

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 per year

  • Five-day work week
