Summary:
Role Overview
The Social Event Planning Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing wedding celebrations and related social events, serving as the primary liaison between couples, wedding planners, and hotel departments. This role is dedicated to creating memorable, personalized experiences while ensuring flawless execution, strong client relationships, and achievement of revenue goals within the wedding and social events segment.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate all aspects of social events, including weddings ceremonies, receptions, rehearsal dinners, and social celebrations.
• Administer wedding contracts and detail all event elements including food & beverage selections, A/V needs, guest room blocks, timelines, and billing instructions.
• Serve as the on-site contact for social and wedding events, ensuring seamless and stress-free execution for clients and their guests.
• Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders through consistent communication and personalized service.
• Occasionally conduct site tours for prospective clients and showcase event venues and hotel offerings.
• Collaborate closely with culinary, banquet, front office, and housekeeping teams to deliver exceptional experiences.
• Manage room block reservations, monitor pickup, and provide accurate forecasting for groups.
• Participate in tastings, planning meetings, and pre-event reviews to ensure all details are captured and executed.
Qualifications:
