National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) is the world’s largest association of Christian communicators, representing organizations reaching millions across traditional and digital media. NRB equips and supports its members through training, resources, and advocacy to ensure the Gospel is communicated freely and effectively. As a nonpartisan, international association, NRB promotes biblical truth, media excellence, and the defense of free speech across all forms of Christian media.


Our headquarters is located in Washington, D.C. near Capitol Hill, which keeps us closely engaged with Congress, the FCC, the courts, and the Executive Branch on issues affecting Christian media. We have a secondary office in Nashville, TN.


Position Summary:


The Event Registration Coordinator provides administrative support to the Events Department and plays a key role in processing and managing event registrations. This position oversees the registration process, maintains accurate participant records, supports database updates and reporting, and assists with the coordination of event logistics and related administrative needs.

This position offers opportunities to meet and exceed defined goals, influence the financial success of the company, contribute to strategic planning initiatives, and engage in ongoing professional and personal development.


Qualifications:

  • High school degree required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in customer service.
  • Experience with databases, CRM systems, or registration platforms preferred.
  • Experience coordinating logistics, vendors, or events is a plus.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge within field of Christian broadcasting and ministry preferred.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to multi-task.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Expertise in database entry, manipulation, and report generation
  • Excellent typing skills to maintain quality and accuracy.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office applications and general computer knowledge.
  • Willingness and ability to travel and work extended hours during convention.
  • Ability to support occasional evenings/weekends during peak seasons and major events (Convention, Capitol Hill Media Summit, etc.).
  • Willingness to travel for NRB events as needed.
  • Mature, committed Christian faith and full alignment with NRB’s Mission, Statement of Faith, and Code of Ethics.

Responsibilities:


Registration & Event Operations

  • Coordinate and manage the registration data records for all events, to include exhibitor, sponsor, affiliate, and publication participants.
  • Coordinate and manage contractors as necessary to fulfill assigned responsibilities.
  • Manage project deadlines along with coordinating and ordering equipment and/or supplies to support project requirements.
  • Maintain billing records, coordinating the processing of invoices and receipts related to all events, to include, exhibitor, sponsor, affiliate, and publication participants.
  • Train and manage volunteer registration staff for events.
  • Update and maintain event related content on the website as directed.
  • Develop and generate reports or tables of participant data as directed.
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support to all staff in the Events Department.
  • General organization of event records, materials, and supplies.
  • Maintain database records by removing duplicates, updating records, etc.
