THE ROLE

The Truth is seeking apart-timeEvent Manager who serves as a key leader within the venue'soperationsteam andis responsible forsupporting the successful execution of concerts,special events, and venue activities. Working closely with the Operations Manager and Director of Special Events, this position helps ensure the venue is fully prepared, staffed, and ready to deliver exceptional experiences for guests, artists, and clients.

The Event Manager provides day-of-event leadership by coordinating with department managers and supervisors,facilitatingstaff communication and briefings,monitoringvenue conditions, andassistingwith real-time decision-making and problem resolution.This role serves as an on-site resource to support operational readiness, staff effectiveness, guest experience initiatives, and special event execution while helping ensure successful outcomes across all venue events.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

Support the successful execution of concerts,special events, and venue activities from pre-event preparation through event closeout

Serve as a day-of-event leader and operational resource for department managers, supervisors, and part-time staff

Coordinate with Guest Services, Security, Facilities, Food & Beverage, Box Office, Production, and other departments to ensure seamless event execution

Conduct pre-event venue readiness inspections andassistin ensuring all guest-facing and back-of-house areas are event ready

Assist Operations Manager with show VIP Programs

Lead and support staff briefings, department check-ins, and post-event debriefs

Monitorvenue operations during events andassistwith real-time decision-making and problem resolution

Support staffing operations through staff deployment, break coordination, and resource allocation as needed

Helpmaintaina safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests, artists, clients, and employees

Assistin training, coaching, and developing supervisors and part-time staff to uphold venue standards and expectations

Support the Director of Special Events with client-facing activities, event execution, and on-site oversight of private andspecial events

Fosters positive experiences for guests, staff, and other stakeholders in a manner thatestablishesthe venue as a safe, enjoyable, and supportive environment

Collaborate with venue leadership toidentifyopportunities for operational improvements and enhanced guest experiences

Perform other duties as assigned byOperations Manager or Director of Special Events

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

Working knowledge of high-volume venue operations, guest services, and event management

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick, informed decisions and effectively de-escalate challenging situations

Experience building positive relationships with guests, staff, clients, and other stakeholders

Ability toanticipateand respond to guest, client, and operational needs in a fast-paced environment

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize responsibilities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Demonstratedability to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented under pressure

Ability to foster teamwork, collaboration, and a positive workplace culture

Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules

High School Diploma or equivalent required;Bachelor'sdegree preferred

Prior experience in live entertainment, hospitality, venue operations, or event management preferred
