Event Manager

Pay rate : $40

Duration : 08/24/2026 to 11/21/2026

Location Cambridge, MA 02138

Hybrid - Partial time on campus/partial time WFH (working/living in MA).


We are looking for someone with higher education/student services experience. This person will take over designing and executing events for various student communities such as first-generation students, veterans, and students with children. They should have knowledge of higher education institutions, facilitation experience, the types of support these communities need, and, ideally, familiarity with the Harvard ecosystem. It would be a bonus if the person has experience coordinating events. Many of our events are after 5 p.m., and we will need support during those times.


The Event Manager may be asked to do the following as determined by Harvard management Assume full or partial control of all aspects of an event. Delegates duties and or tasks to others. Responsible for full or partial client contact. Completes reports or paperwork. If an Agency employee is injured, may be required to complete reports and immediately contact Harvard and Agency management. Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.
