JDK is an experienced and distinguished event-planning, catering, and design company serving central PA with a team dedicated to helping our customers create memorable experiences that will last a lifetime. We have over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry and have grown from a sibling trio (the J, D, and K of the name!) to a thriving team of nearly 200. We are passionate about offering exceptional guest service, incredibly fresh and delicious food, and innovative event design. We care about being a network of family and not just a cohort of coworkers and are looking to grow our culinary event execution team. Catering and/or restaurant cooking experience is preferred! Here's what an ordinary day of work might look like:


  • In House prep days
    • Wash, peel, chop, slice, and dice whatever might be necessary
    • Follow recipes and get those culinary creations ready to be finished on-site
    • Break down and clean up the kitchen area
  • On event days:
    • Set up kitchen area
    • Assist in finishing cooking dishes, assemble hors d'oeuvres, plate dinners, or maybe man an action station
    • Break down and clean up the kitchen area

  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods
