Job description

We specialize in creating elevated balloon décor and event installations for high-end corporate and social events throughout West Michigan. Our work takes us into professional event environments including convention centers, hotels, country clubs, corporate offices, venues, grand openings, galas, conferences, brand activations, and private events.


This is an opportunity to learn the production side of a luxury event décor business while working behind the scenes to help create beautiful, memorable experiences for our clients!

We are looking for a dependable, hands-on, and detail-oriented Event Décor Production Assistant to join our growing balloon décor and event production team.


This is a flexible part-time position with hours that vary based on our event schedule. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with a flexible schedule and interested in increasing their hours as our business continues to grow. Availability for occasional evenings and weekends is required.


Responsibilities include:

  • Inhouse event prep
  • Event installations and breakdowns
  • Setup balloon garlands, arches, columns, and other décor
  • Loading and unloading décor and equipment
  • Meet deadlines and arrive prepared for scheduled shifts 
  • Keeping the production area clean and organized
  • Following detailed instructions and maintaining our quality standards
  • Prepare orders for pickup 
  • Pull materials and supplies for upcoming events 
  • Inflate balloons using electric and/or manual inflators 
  • Vinyl Application printing and application
  • Delivery 


Ideal Candidate:

  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
  • Comfortable working with their hands and being on their feet
  • Detail-oriented and able to work efficiently
  • Flexible with availability
  • Comfortable lifting and moving event décor/equipment
  • Willing to learn — balloon experience is not required
  • Hospitality, event, creative, decorating, or production experience is a plus
  • Experience with Canva
  • Experience with Cricut Design Space 
  • Possesses a driver license
