Florida Event Décor is the premier special event company serving clients in Florida and throughout the U.S. We are a full service décor, design and production company providing services for corporate events. We maintain a 20,000 square foot warehouse space containing rental props, lighting, furniture, and custom built items used in creating special events.
Job Description
Are you looking for an opportunity to use your passion for events and sales to do something you love while positively impacting some of the biggest companies and brands in the world? Florida Event Décor is looking for a highly motivated and passionate individual to help secure new business and develop existing relationships. The Account Executive is responsible for selling the rental products and services that Florida Event Décor offers, maintaining on-going client relationships, while reaching the sales targets that are set for you. This person will be required to make cold calls, set up client meetings, make presentations, attend site inspections, be present for event installations, and be available during off-business hours to handle any issues that may arise.
Qualifications
Key Areas of Responsibility
  • Develop new business through networking, prospecting and consistent lead follow up
  • Secure and maintain long-term, loyal relationships with clients
  • Provide status reports on sales activity, adherence to goals, closing business and customer follow-ups
  • Creation of Sales Proposals and oversight of each event through the sales process
  • Assist in developing strategic and promotional plans to drive special event sales. Plan to include strategic initiatives, competitive analysis and insights on new areas of opportunities.
  • Supervise Event Specialists and additional staff and vendors onsite
  • Management of client contact and relationship through CRM program

Skills/Requirements
  • Minimum of three (3) years of sales or production experience within one of the fields of event planning and production, catering services, hotel sales/catering services, trade show exhibit design and production services or similar agency services and production.
  • Must be self-motivated and have a keen understanding of how to hunt for and win new clients within the core target markets of our business.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of the marketplace (competitive info, market opportunities, market trends, etc.)
  • Well connected in the Orlando area and a current portfolio of clients
  • Ability to work well independently as well as in a team
  • Clean FL driver's license
  • Schedule may exceed 40 hours and include nights and weekends
  • Some travel will be required
