Day of Operations Facilitator

Part-Time | Chapel of the Flowers


The Day of Operations Facilitator plays a critical role in maintaining the daily operational flow of Chapel of the Flowers. This position supports multiple departments by managing internal inventory, coordinating deliveries and pickups, and assisting with event setup and logistics. This role ensures departments have the supplies and materials needed to operate efficiently while helping maintain the high service standards expected by our couples and guests. We are a LGBTQ friendly company and you must be willing to service all couples who seek our services.


Primary Responsibilities:

Inventory Management

· Maintain and organize operational inventory for all departments


Responsibilities Include:

· Monitoring inventory levels

· Reordering supplies when needed

· Receiving shipments

· Distributing supplies to the appropriate departments

· Maintaining organized storage areas

· Inventory may include office supplies, retail merchandise, packaging materials, and operational supplies


Delivery & Logistics:

· Assist with internal and external logistics including transporting event décor and supplies between locations

· Delivering company orders and materials

· Picking up purchased items or vendor supplies

· Assisting with floral and décor installations

· Transporting setup items for ceremonies or receptions

· Breaking down and returning décor items after events


Event Support:

· Provide operational support on busy days by assisting with chapel and reception setup

· Floral installation assistance

· Moving décor, signage, and equipment

· Supporting coordinators or department leaders as needed


Receiving & Distribution:

· Handle deliveries and shipments by inspecting incoming deliveries

· Logging and organizing received items

· Delivering items to the appropriate departments

· Coordinating with department managers on supply needs


Skills & Qualifications:

· Highly organized

· Detail oriented

· Strong sense of responsibility and follow-through

· Able to manage multiple small tasks across departments

· Comfortable supporting event setups

· Professional and team-oriented


Physical Requirements:

· Ability to lift 30+ pounds

· Ability to move equipment, décor, and supply boxes

· Comfortable being active throughout the shift


Additional Requirements:

· Valid driver's license

· Clean driving record

· Ability to drive company vehicles for deliveries and pickups


Compensation:

This position pays an hourly rate of $12.00 per hour, plus gratuities. The average hourly earnings are $15.00 – $18.00 per hour. This position is part-time with the hours scheduled fluctuating according to business needs.
