Position Overview

A warm and welcoming family of three in Beverly Hills is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Full-Time Housekeeper to join their household team. The family resides in an approximately 11,000-square-foot estate and includes two principals, a toddler, and a small dog. This is a collaborative role working alongside a long-term housekeeper, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being part of a professional, supportive household environment.

The ideal candidate is polished, proactive, and takes pride in maintaining a beautifully organized home. Candidates should have previous experience working in large private residences, possess exceptional laundry and wardrobe care skills, and demonstrate discretion, flexibility, and a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform full-charge housekeeping throughout an 11,000-square-foot residence.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of all living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and common spaces to the highest standards.
  • Dust, vacuum, mop, polish, sanitize, and care for all household surfaces and furnishings.
  • Manage all aspects of household laundry, including washing, stain treatment, ironing, steaming, folding, pressing, and caring for fine garments, luxury linens, and delicate fabrics.
  • Organize and maintain closets, wardrobes, linens, pantries, storage areas, and household supplies.
  • Pack and unpack luggage for family travel, ensuring clothing and personal items are carefully organized and properly cared for.
  • Polish and maintain silver, brass, and other specialty household items to preserve their appearance and condition.
  • Care for fine furnishings, artwork, antiques, specialty finishes, and luxury materials using proper cleaning techniques.
  • Monitor and replenish household inventories, cleaning products, and guest amenities.
  • Assist with seasonal deep cleaning projects and household organization.
  • Work collaboratively with the family's long-term housekeeper to ensure seamless daily household operations.
  • Assist with occasional entertaining preparation and post-event cleanup.
  • Provide light assistance with the family's small dog as needed (refilling water, letting outside, etc.).
  • Maintain complete confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion at all times.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in private service or luxury residential housekeeping.
  • Significant experience working in large, high-end private homes.
  • Exceptional laundry and wardrobe care experience, including knowledge of luxury fabrics, couture garments, and fine linens.
  • Experience packing and unpacking for travel with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of proper care for silver, brass, antiques, artwork, and luxury household finishes.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a household team.
  • Professional, discreet, dependable, and service-oriented.
  • Authorized to work in the United States with excellent professional references.
