Customer Experience & Events Associate (Part-Time)

Tysons Creamery LLC

Location: Northern Virginia – festivals, markets, pop-up events, catering events, corporate events, and tastings
Schedule: Part-time and flexible; hours vary based on event schedule
Compensation: $16-$18 per hour, based on experience
Reports To: Operations Manager / Owner

Position Summary

Tysons Creamery is seeking an outgoing, dependable, and professional Customer Experience & Events Associate to represent our brand at customer events, farmers markets, pop-up markets, corporate events, festivals, tastings, and other community engagements.

This is a front-of-house, customer-facing position. The associate will not work in the production kitchen but will gain exposure to the operational side of a growing artisanal food business, including event planning, inventory coordination, product presentation, customer service, merchandising, sales, and event logistics.

The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with people, is comfortable working independently and as part of a team, and understands the importance of creating an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent Tysons Creamery professionally at markets, pop-ups, corporate events, catering events, festivals, and tastings.
  • Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging customer service.
  • Educate customers about Tysons Creamery products, flavors, ingredients, and brand.
  • Assist with event setup and breakdown, including tables, displays, signage, menus, merchandise, and serving materials.
  • Maintain an attractive, organized, and professional event display throughout each event.
  • Serve and distribute products according to established food safety and presentation standards.
  • Assist customers with product selections and answer questions regarding flavors and ingredients.
  • Process customer purchases and accurately handle point-of-sale transactions when applicable.
  • Assist with merchandise sales and promotional materials.
  • Monitor product and supply levels during events and communicate needs to the Operations Manager.
  • Assist with event inventory counts before and after events.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the serving and customer areas.
  • Help load, unload, transport, and organize event supplies and equipment.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation procedures during all events.
  • Gather customer feedback and communicate observations and opportunities to management.
  • Help create a welcoming and memorable Tysons Creamery experience for every guest.
