Position Overview
Citadel Security USA is seeking dependable Unarmed Event Security Officers to support a variety of public and private events throughout the Denver area. This role focuses on providing a welcoming, professional presence while helping maintain a safe and organized environment for guests, vendors, performers, and event staff.
Successful candidates are observant, customer-focused, and able to remain calm in busy, fast-moving environments. Event assignments may include concerts, festivals, sporting events, community gatherings, and other special venues.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Perform routine walking patrols throughout assigned event areas.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted locations.
  • Conduct bag inspections in accordance with event policies and security procedures.
  • Verify access credentials and assist with access control operations.
  • Maintain a visible security presence to help discourage unauthorized or disruptive behavior.
  • Observe, document, and promptly report safety concerns, suspicious activity, or policy violations.
  • Assist with crowd movement and provide directional assistance to guests when needed.
  • Respond appropriately to incidents while following established site procedures.
  • Work cooperatively with event organizers, law enforcement, emergency personnel, and fellow security staff.
  • Complete accurate activity logs and incident reports before the end of each assignment.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum age required by company policy and applicable regulations.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during scheduled events.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions while maintaining professionalism.
  • Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to remain composed while working in crowded or high-traffic environments.
  • Reliable transportation to assigned event locations.
