WHAT YOUR DAY ENTAILS:

You'll work a part-time, Monday–Friday schedule with flexible hours between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, based on planning and event needs.

As our Youth Event Assistant, you start your day reviewing the events calendar and refining a timeline for an upcoming family night-confirming vendors, finalizing a supply list, and coordinating volunteer roles so each station runs smoothly. You draft a concise flyer and email, set up sign-ups, and double-check that everything aligns with health, safety, and licensing standards. Throughout the day, you touch base with staff, walk through the event flow, and update your checklist. During the event, you guide set-up, welcome partners, and keep the schedule on track with a calm, friendly presence. Afterward, you track participation and write a brief summary-capturing wins, lessons, and next steps-so the next celebration is even better than the last.
