Keep reading to learn more!OUR MISSIONWe are a nonprofit preschool in Lakeside focused on helping families and children in underserved communities. Our mission is to give kids ages 0-5 a safe, caring place to learn and grow, while also helping families get the support and services they need. We offer things like mental health resources and job training in early childhood education. Our team works together and cares about making a real difference. At Rising Star Preschool, your ideas are important and we want to help you learn and advance in your career with ongoing training and support. If you want a friendly, team-based place to work where you can help your community and grow as a teacher, we would love for you to join us.YOUR SCHEDULEAs a Toddler Teacher, you will work from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. All your hours are onsite. No nights or weekends are needed.YOUR DAYEvery day, you will care for a group of lively children. You will help them learn and grow by planning fun activities that teach them to talk, move, play, and get along with others. You will take care of their daily needs, like helping with meals, diapering or bathroom time, naps, and moving from one activity to the next. You will watch how each child is doing, talk with families and your coworkers, and keep your classroom clean and safe. Your job is to make sure every child feels happy, safe, and ready to learn.REQUIREMENTS FOR A TODDLER TEACHER12 ECE units completedExperience working with toddlers (ages 1.5–3) in a licensed childcare or preschool settingFamiliarity with California Community Care Licensing (CCL) regulations and health & safety standardsCPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)Strong communication and teamwork skillsA nurturing, patient, and professional approachARE YOU READY FOR THIS EXCITING OPPORTUNITY?If you want to help children learn and grow and be part of a teaching team that cares about you, Rising Star Preschool is the place for you.
