Role Description The Preschool Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based in The Woodlands TX. This role involves planning and delivering age-appropriate lessons, supporting curriculum implementation, and fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
The Preschool Teacher observes and documents children’s progress, communicates regularly with families and colleagues, and helps maintain a safe, clean, and engaging learning space. Daily responsibilities include guiding play-based learning, promoting social and emotional development, and collaborating with the teaching team to ensure high-quality early childhood education.
The Preschool Teacher also participates in staff meetings, professional development, and school events as needed.
Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Early Childhood Education, including developmentally appropriate practices and understanding of preschool and Kindergarten readiness
  • Experience with Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development aligned with school standards and child development milestones
  • Effective Communication skills for engaging with children, families, and colleagues in a professional, respectful manner
  • Ability to create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment that supports diverse learning styles and needs
  • Experience working in licensed childcare or preschool settings; familiarity with state childcare regulations is beneficial
