Job description

Riverside is in heart of the Columbia River Gorge, one of the most exciting places to live in the country and is also one of the country's top recreational meccas. If you are reading this post, you obviously have a passion for hospitality. What are your other passions? Hiking, fly fishing, gravel biking or mountain biking, wind sports, trail running, snow sports and kayaking are all minutes from our restaurant. In Hood River, this lifestyle is literally at your fingertips either before or after work.

We are pleased to announce that Riverside restaurant is currently seeking experienced full and part-time servers to join our team. As a server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring that their dining experience is unforgettable. We take pride in our locally inspired food, superb hospitality, ambiance, and our breathtaking location along the great Columbia River.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests and provide knowledge of our menu, provide recommendations, and answer questions about menu items
  • Take orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and correctly while ensuring the proper presentation and temperature
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to any concerns or issues
  • Upsell menu items and promote specials and events
  • Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils
  • Assist with side work and closing duties as assigned by management.
