Evening Security Officer – Senior Independent Living Community – Part-Time


Position Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Evening shift, 7:00 pm – 12:00 am; flexible days TBD with manager
Status: Part-Time (minimum of 3 shifts per week)

Overview:
Join The Gatesworth, an award-winning independent senior living community in St. Louis, as a Part-Time Evening Security Officer. You will help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for residents, staff, and guests by monitoring the property, conducting rounds, responding to alarms, and enforcing community safety policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular patrols of the community to ensure resident safety and property security.

  • Monitor access control systems, security cameras, and alarm panels.

  • Greet residents and screen visitors at reception and security desks.

  • Respond promptly to emergency situations, alarms, or calls for assistance.

  • Manage deliveries, packages, and restricted areas according to procedure.

  • Maintain a professional and approachable presence while providing resident-focused service.

Qualifications:

  • Valid St. Louis County Security License (or ability to obtain before start).

  • Minimum 2 years of security experience and 2 years of customer service experience.
