Job Title: Epic Certified Training Manager
Location: REMOTE
Duration: 12+ Months
Description:
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services requires the services of an Epic Certified Training Manager to manage the planning and implementation of an EHR implementation project for DSOHF.
"The Training Manager is responsible for communicating training policies and procedures across the organization. This person will also coordinate role analysis and all classroom and equipment aspects of Epic-led virtual training.
General Responsibilities:
Classroom Administration and Planning:
a. Managing WSUL onboarding and engagement and overseeing day-in-the-life activities
b. Develop processes for staff, providers, and managers to escalate questions and concerns about Epic class assignments and registration
c. Provide Epic with the appropriate data to import trainee information into the Epic Training Platform
d. Communicate training registration and completion data from Epic to operational and project leadership
e. Ensure all staff have appropriate Epic training tracks assigned and are registered for Epic classes
f. Secure training rooms, workstations, printers, projectors, screens, barcode scanners, and other equipment needed for virtual Epic-led training and any operationally led DILs that require a computer lab
End-User Engagement and Change Management:
a. Set training requirements for end-user system access and get buy-in on this decision from project and operational leadership
b. Communicate with WSULs throughout the project to ensure that they are staying engaged and are prepared to support end-user training and readiness"
