The licensed mental health counselor role operates largely in a remote setting, allowing for flexibility in managing work-life balance while maintaining regular business hours. Our counseling center serves a diverse patient demographic, including individuals from varying backgrounds, age groups, and mental health challenges. Counselors are expected to adapt their therapeutic approaches to meet the specific needs of each patient, whether focusing on acute mental health conditions or long-term therapeutic relationships.

• Possession of an active state license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Psychologist.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field is required; a Master's or Doctoral degree is preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of common mental health issues faced by a diverse patient population, particularly those accessing outpatient services.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with a variety of patients and collaborate actively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• A deep familiarity with evidence-based practices, especially brief therapy models suitable for outpatient environments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse caseload in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards of patient care.

• Previous experience in an outpatient mental health setting, providing individual and group therapy.
