Job description


YOUR ROLE:
As a Forklift Operator, you're a key player in distribution center operations! Your role includes safely unloading, loading, warehousing, and staging merchandise throughout the distribution center using a mechanical forklift or manual means as needed.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure a safe work environment by efficiently operating mechanical equipment
  • Operate a stand-up forklift to replenish, load/unload trailers, and move product to various locations
  • Maintain proper certifications to operate required powered industrial trucks
  • Accurately sort, stage, load and unload inbound and outbound freight
  • Receive and warehouse incoming merchandise into module racks and floor locations
  • Ensure monthly production and quality standards are met
  • Be open to performing other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to operate forklifts
  • Previous experience in a distribution center
  • Excellent counting skills and attention to detail
  • Manual dexterity required
  • Ability to maintain an excellent attendance and work record
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Lift, carry, push, pull, reach, grasp, bend and stack cartons for up to 12 hours at a time
  • Stand for long periods of time and walk continuously
  • Pull merchandise from multiple levels of shelving or move merchandise as needed
  • Bilateral hand coordination, foot coordination and trunk rotation
  • Climb stairs and perform work at platform heights up to 60 feet
  • Lift up to 50lbs. Specific weight requirements may vary within each department
WE OFFER SEVERAL SHIFT OPTIONS INCLUDING:
  • Weekday Daylight 5:30 am - 3:30 pm (Monday - Thursday)
  • Weekday Evening 4:30 pm - 2:30 am (Monday - Thursday)
  • Weekend Day 5:00 am - 5:00 pm (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)
  • Weekend Evening 5:00 pm - 5:00 am (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)
