Kitchen Staff Job Opportunity

We are currently seeking reliable and enthusiastic kitchen staff to join our team at Compass Academy. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in preparing delicious meals for our young students. If you possess excellent time management skills and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.

What You'll Do
  • Prepare meals for the kids in our preschool environment, adhering to the highest standards of quality and quantity.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following occupational health & safety standards and best practices for food handling, storage, and hygiene.
  • Assist with loading, unloading the dishwasher, and ensuring all kitchen equipment is in good working condition.
  • Prepare milk and water cups, as well as help track kitchen inventory, including food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Cook menu items by following instructions and adhering to allergies and specifications.
  • Attend scheduled employee meetings and stay informed about team updates and concerns.
  • Verify that prepared food meets the required standards and help out team members during their lunchbreaks as needed.
  • Wash, cut, and prepare foods designated for cooking.
  • Report any concerns, incidents, losses, or damages to the director in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare breakfast, lunch, and evening snacks, ensuring a healthy and balanced menu for our students.
  • Ensure the kitchen remains organized and tidy, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness and organization.

Requirements
  • Age 21 or older
  • Clean background check
  • 1 Year Kitchen experience
  • Must be legally able to work in America
  • A passion for kids!!!
