Job description

Evening Operations Manager
  • Assists the Project Manager in planning, organizing, and directing the operational function in Kansas City complex. Directs the nightly cleaning.
  • Continually analyzes operational functions and suggests to the Senior Project Manager immediate corrective action when performance deviates from the standard.
  • Walks buildings during work shifts to ensure that cleaning standards are being met.
  • Interprets and implements approved operational policies, methods, and procedures.
  • Develops and trains subordinate supervisors. Appraises their performance and implements action for promotion, transfer, or termination.
  • Ensures the proper handling of customer complaints and problems.
  • Keeps the Sr. Project Manager informed of serious or repeated problems.
  • Develops and maintains plans to ensure that the complaint does not repeat.
  •  Ensures consistent reporting and feedback of all necessary information with the Senior Project Manager. Maintains a committed working relationship with the Property Management. 
  • Works with the Trainer to identify cleaners that require additional or more thorough training. Performs on-the-job (OTJ) with new cleaners to ensure they understand and perform to building standards. 
  • Implements and controls the handling of periodical work orders. 

Hours: M-F, 4:30 pm - 1:30 am, Some Mandatory Weekends

Education, Certification, and Experience:

  • 3 years of commercial cleaning experience or related industry.

Physical Requirements

  • Able to stand and walk on cement the entire shift.
